Today, Gran Turismo Sport added microtransactions. Allowing players to purchase cars in the game without having to grind for them.

The total amount of cars available for purchase are 218 ranging from $0.99 to $2.99. Only cars worth less than 2,000,000 credits are available for purchase, anything above that amount must be earned.

This isn’t the worst type of microtransaction and is generally accepted. For players who want a specific item, they can now purchase it. However, whether it can be seen as pay-to-win is another issue. Since a majority of the Gran Turismo games focuses on collecting cars having them become purchasable items can be seen as a pay-to-win system

Gran Turismo Sport is now available for PS4.
