Today there was a huge set of announcements for Super Smash Bros. UltimateThe most significant was the inclusion of Simon Belmont, Richter, King K. Rool, Chrom, and Dark Samus who will also be getting amiibo figures.

No release date or images were provided but similar to the Splatoon 2 and Ridley amiibos we can assume that these amiibos will launch with the game. In addition, it’s also safe to assume they will function like previous Super Smash Bros. amiibos with the ability to fight alongside players, learn from fights, and grow in levels.

Super Smash Bros. Ultimate launches on December 7th for Nintendo Switch.
