The Spyro Reignited trilogy has been delayed until November for Xbox and Playstation 4. Activision made an announcement that the trilogy will now be released on November 13th, almost two months after that original September 21st date.

Activision and developer Toys for Bob posted a blog post, citing their commitment to the getting the games right, causing the delay for the release date. The co-studio head for Toys for Bob, Paul Yan, had to say about the delay. “I really hoped that you would be rescuing dragons and scorching Rhynocs sooner, but the Trilogy needs more love and care.  In November when you’re exploring the Dragon Realms, Avalar and the Forgotten Worlds, we know you’ll agree the extra time was worth the wait.”

The Spyro Reignited trilogy comes with modern versions of Spyro the Dragon, Spyro 2: Ripto’s Rage, and Spyro: Year of the Dragon. It was announced at Comic-Con that the original composer, Stewart Copeland, is returning for Reignited trilogy. Activision and Toys for Bob just released a game play video for the remastered Spyro 2: Ripto’s Rage. You can take a look at that here.
