Final Fantasy XII: The Zodiac Age – How to Locate and Defeat Exodus The Judge-Sal

Judge-Sal’s exodus was charged with watching the world and judging the value of all things. Eventually, Exodus lost his attachment to everything after seeing the world fade into nothing. Joining the war against the Gods Exodus must serve anyone who summons it and can be obtained for personal use if you win a death battle.

Location of the apartment:

Exodus can be reached after completing the Phon Coast during the main campaign, but players should reach level 40 before facing it.

To reach Exodus, you’ll need Gysahl Greens that can be purchased from Dyce near Balfonheim Port’s Gate Crystal or dropped from wild Chocobos. Other vendors sell this item, but it’s the easiest way to get it.

Speak to the Learned Man next to the Northwest Wind Shrine, reassuring him about his theory. After talking to the Caravaner next to a crate, he’ll tell you about a stray Chocobo.

Next, touch South Wind Shrine and exit north-east, you’ll find a Chocobo. Go south to Empyrean Way, cross the bridge, and head west into the tall grass. Take the left path into Babbling Vale to find Weathered Rock. Knock it down to activate West Wind Shrine, head down the bridge and activate Northwest Wind Shrine. Double back over the fallen rock, enter Skyreach Ridge, head northwest to Empyrean Seat.

Strategy for:

Using attrition, exodus can be won using general equipment found on Phon Coast. Using Slow weapons, however, will make the battle much easier. No items are allowed in this battle, making spells your primary healing and reviving means, and Exodus can inflict physical attacks on Slow.

Ensure that one ally is in Haste duty for all allies, 2 allies have Cure spells linked to 50 percent and 40 percent health since items are disabled healing spells will be prioritized here, and Exodus’ Reflect is dispelled. Use Dispel to remove Sap Reflect and cast Bio. Set Foe Status Gambit = Reflect — Dispel. Use Slow before Exodus can cast another Reflect buff.

At 50% Health Exodus will cast Unleash, causing it to cast Scathe quickly, which can cause 3k to 4k damage to everyone caught in the animation. Everyone from here cast Shell to minimize damage. 15% Unleash your Quickenings and earn another Esper.

Exodus will activate Paling at 15%, making him immune to physical damage but still susceptible to magical attacks. When Paling unleashes your Quickenings and you earn another Esper.
